These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of getplushpets.com and to every order you place with PlushPets ("PlushPets", "we", "us", "our"). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully, especially Sections 10 to 12, which contain our Limited Warranty, warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

Our blankets are sold under the name Purr & Woof and are woven and shipped by our production partner in the United States.

2. Who can order

We sell and ship only to addresses in the United States. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state, to place an order.

Part A – Your order

3. Our blankets

We make 100% cotton woven blankets with a portrait and the name of your pet, based on a photo you provide. We make one pet per blanket. Our sizes are Small (52 × 37 in), Medium (60 × 50 in) and Large (80 × 60 in). Please note:

  • Woven, not printed. We translate your photo into a woven pattern. Weaving uses a limited number of yarn colors and threads, so fine details, gradients and exact colors are simplified. You get a woven portrait, not a photo print.
  • Our design. We turn your photo into a portrait in our own style. We use digital design tools for this, including AI image generation, and a person on our team checks every design before we send it to you.
  • Images on our website. Product photos and the design we email you show what your blanket will look like. Colors on your screen can differ slightly from the actual yarn.
  • Size. Because every blanket is woven and finished individually, actual sizes can vary by up to 1 inch.

These characteristics are part of a woven product and are not defects.

4. Placing and accepting your order

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you an order confirmation by email. We may refuse or cancel an order before we start weaving if: (a) the photo is not usable and you do not send us a better one; (b) the photo, name or other content infringes someone else's rights or is offensive or unlawful; (c) there is an obvious error in a price or product description; or (d) we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we refund the full amount you paid.

5. Your photo, your pet's name and your design

  • Your photo. Please upload a sharp photo, taken in good light, in which your pet's face is easy to see. If the photo doesn't work well, we will ask you for another one.
  • Your pet's name. We weave the name exactly as you enter it. Please check the spelling.
  • Your design within 24 hours. Within 24 hours of your order, we email the design to the email address you used at checkout. If you order a gift, we email the design to you, not to the recipient.
  • Free tweaks. Use the link in the email to approve the design or ask for a change. Tweaks are free, as many as you need, as long as they are based on the photo and name of your order.
  • We only weave once you say yes. We start weaving after you approve the design.
  • No reply within 7 days. If we haven't heard from you within 7 days after we sent the design, we will go ahead with the design you have seen and treat it as approved. We will send you a reminder before then. Want to change something? Just let us know within those 7 days.
  • Cancel before approval. You can cancel your order for a full refund until your design is approved. Just email us.

6. Prices, discounts and payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Shipping within the United States is free. Any applicable sales tax is shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is due in full at checkout, using one of the payment methods offered there (such as Visa, Mastercard or PayPal).

Promotions, such as sales, bundle discounts and welcome discounts, apply under the conditions and for the period shown with the promotion. A promotion cannot be applied to an order after it has been placed and cannot be exchanged for cash.

7. Delivery

Your blanket arrives within 10 business days after your design is approved. If we cannot deliver within that time, we will let you know, give you a new expected date, and offer you the choice to cancel your order for a full refund. Holiday deadlines shown on our website (for example "order by December 12 to get it before Christmas") assume that you approve your design promptly. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the blanket is delivered to the shipping address you entered. More details are in our Shipping Policy.

8. Returns

Every blanket is made just for you, so all sales are final once your design is approved. We do not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind. Something not right? Let us know and we will make it right under our Limited Warranty (Section 10) and our Refund Policy.

9. Care

Machine wash cold, inside out, and let it air dry. Our blankets are not toys and are not intended for infants. Do not leave infants or young children unsupervised with the blanket, and don't let pets chew on the fringe.

10. Limited Warranty

PlushPets warrants to the original buyer that your blanket will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, and will match the approved design, for 90 days from delivery. This covers, for example, weaving or sewing defects, a name that is spelled differently from the approved design, the wrong color or size compared to your order, and damage during shipping.

What we will do: if your blanket is covered by this warranty, we will remake it for free or refund the purchase price, at our choice.

What is not covered: the characteristics described in Section 3, differences between your photo and a design that was approved, normal wear and tear, and damage caused by misuse, accidents, pets, or not following the care instructions.

How to make a claim: email hello@getplushpets.com within the warranty period with your order number, your pet's name and photos of the problem. You do not need to send the blanket back unless we ask you to. If we do, we pay for the return shipping.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

11. Disclaimer of other warranties

EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY ABOVE, AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 90-DAY PERIOD OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you. Our website is provided "as is" and "as available", to the extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLUSHPETS IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO AN ORDER WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT ORDER. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

13. Your photo and the design

You confirm that you own the photo you upload or have permission to use it (for example, because you took it or the photographer agreed), and that we can use it to make your blanket without infringing anyone's rights. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your photo, your pet's name and the design to make and deliver your order. We will never sell your pet's design to anyone else, and we will only show your photo or blanket in our marketing if you have given us separate permission. You agree to indemnify us against claims by third parties caused by content you provided that infringes their rights. Any intellectual property rights in the designs we create remain with us; you may use your design freely for personal, non-commercial purposes, including sharing it on social media.

Part B – Using our website

14. Website use

You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to use it for anything unlawful; not to upload content that infringes someone else's rights or is offensive, discriminatory, violent, sexual or otherwise unlawful; not to try to gain unauthorized access to our website, systems or other customers' accounts; and not to disrupt our website, for example with malware, bots or scrapers. We may block access if you violate these Terms.

15. Reviews

If you leave a review, it may be shown on our website with your first name, last initial and, if you choose, a photo of your blanket. Reviews must be honest and about your own experience. We may remove reviews that violate these Terms, but we do not remove reviews because they are negative.

16. Intellectual property

All content on our website, including text, images, designs, logos and the PlushPets and Purr & Woof names, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or use it commercially without our written permission.

17. Errors and availability

We try to keep our website accurate. Obvious errors in prices or product information do not bind us, and we may correct them at any time. Our store runs on Shopify. We do not guarantee that our website will always be available or error-free, and we are not responsible for third-party websites we link to.

18. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information and your pet's photos.

Part C – General

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and your order are governed by the laws of the U.S. state to which your order is shipped and by applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you have a problem, please email us first at hello@getplushpets.com; we will try to resolve it within 30 days. Either party may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Otherwise, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of the state to which your order was shipped.

20. Other terms

We may update these Terms. The version in effect when you place your order applies to that order. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we don't enforce a provision, that is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us.
